Trying to navigate San Diego’s ultra-competitive real estate market can be a challenging endeavor especially for a first-time buyer like me. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of working with Jose Hernandez who worked tirelessly to find me the perfect home. He was always just a phone call, text message, or email away and it didn’t matter if it was weekday evenings or weekends, Jose almost always responded immediately. The same can be said for viewing houses. He was always accommodating to my work schedule and if I was interested in viewing a home, he would have a showing scheduled, often the same day and if not, it was due to a scheduling conflict with the seller or the seller’s agent. Jose’s knowledge of the San Diego market is impressive, and he was continually working with me to refine my strategy and search. When it came to placing offers, he was dogged in following-up on offers to make sure that we weren’t wasting our time with unrealistic bidding. I can also say that at no point did I ever feel pressured to place an offer or move forward with the purchase of a house I wasn’t 100% comfortable with. We even had an offer accepted and entered escrow on the purchase of a home only to discover a few major issues during inspection that scared me away. Jose was completely supportive of my decision to step away from that house and he was more energized than ever to get back out and find my perfect fit. I really appreciate that honesty and support of my decision. We ultimately did find that perfect fit and I can’t thank Jose and his team enough for their effort. The buying process could have been overwhelming, but Jose and his team again were amazing in making sure the necessary steps were checked off in a timely manner to ensure that we closed escrow on time. I live on the east coast and became the trustee of my family's trust. Jose was suggested to me by my lawyer as Jose had been praised by one of her past clients in the Chula Vista area for being so helpful. All that I can say is that after a few conversations on the phone I had decided to go with Jose to sell our family property.
